FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I make my signature transparent?

Sign on plain white paper, take a photo or scan it, and upload it here. The paper is removed automatically and you download your signature as a transparent PNG.

The paper has shadows — will that work?

Yes. The tool measures the paper's brightness across the whole photo, so shadows and uneven light from a phone camera are removed too. If faint grey spots remain, lower Sensitivity.

Some of my strokes are missing or too thin

Raise Sensitivity to keep lighter pen strokes. Using a dark pen (black or blue) and good light gives the cleanest result.

Can I change the ink colour?

Yes. Keep the original pen colour or switch to black, blue or navy — handy for official documents that ask for blue ink.

Is my signature uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser. Your signature never leaves your device, which matters for something this sensitive.

How do I add the signature to a PDF or Word document?

In Word, use Insert → Pictures and choose the PNG. In most PDF editors (Adobe Acrobat, Preview on Mac and others), add it as an image or as your saved signature.
